Dr. Thames and his wife, Amy, are excited to reside in Laurel, where they look forward to raising their children together (Katherine, age five, and Levi, age three). Dr. Thames loves golfing, spending time with family and friends, and serving at his local church.

Meet Dr. Stone Thames
Dr. Thames joined the Family Dental Care team in 2016 and purchased our practice in 2020. Today, he continues our legacy of top-quality dental care and community relationships at Laurel Dental Group!
Education & Experience
Dr. Thames is a native of Laurel, MS. He was homeschooled throughout high school and attended William Carey University, where he received his Bachelor's in Psychology in 2010. Dr. Thames went on to attend dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he graduated in 2016.
Dr. Thames stays in the know with the latest in dental care as a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
